General TENT active Conduct Policy and Liability Waver

To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, the following policies must be strictly observed during your stay:

1. Parents/Chaperones are AT ALL TIMES responsible for the conduct of their children/group members.

2. All minors (16 years and under) MUST BE accompanied by an adult (at least 18 years of age) when in the vicinity of pond or stream area AT ALL TIMES.

3. Take away everything that you brought in – LEAVE NO TRACE BEHIND.

4. All minors (16 years and under) MUST BE accompanied by an adult (at least 18 years of age) when on the trail in the woods AT ALL TIMES.

5. The terrain used for Outdoor Activities is uncontrolled, unmarked, not inspected, and involves many risks, dangers and hazards. Participation in Outdoor Activities (such as hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, camping etc.)  involves many risks, dangers and hazards and the registered guests/parents/guardians assume full responsibility for themselves and their children/party for all the risks and consequences of these activities.

6.  Smoking is not allowed in the TENT or in close proximity to it, if you are found to have smoked, you will incur a $250.00 charge for deep cleaning.

7. If you make a campfire make sure to observe open fire safety rules. DO NOT LEAVE FIRE UNATTENDED.  When leaving the area make sure to put out the fire with water or stomp it down until no smoke appears from the ground.

8. We welcome all well-behaved pets. Please do not allow your pet to destroy furniture or soil the tent and area around the tent and the fire pit. If we find pet related damage, such as chewed tent or furniture, you will incur a charge for replacement value of the damaged item.

9. It is the responsibility of the registered guest to distribute this information to all pertinent persons in the group.

10. The registered guest(s) is responsible for the behavior and actions of anyone in their group and visiting their suite, and must ensure their visitors abide by all Retreat rules and regulations.
